Richard Schweizer

Richard Waldemar Schweizer (born March 13, 1910 in Kybartai) is an SS Untersturmführer and SD officer that was occupied in Lithuania. Grown up in the Kybarai, Maironis street. In the same street lived his single-aged Bronius Ausrotas which were linked by intelligence activities.I n family they spoken German language.He attended German elementary school and progymnasium. He freely spoken Lithuanian language.

In 1937, he worked in Lithuania as a head of the craftsman youtuh section of German Kultuverband organization. Collaborated with Nazi Germany Security Sevice SD. During the German-Polish War, September 1,1939 Between 1 and 16, Bronius Ausrotas noticed him goin to Poland in Viev, presumably to follow the trains from Vilnius to the Polish-German front. 1941 Schweizer told jokingly about of neccessity of the Jewish Extermination. He had Taken his role of the Massacre of Lietūkis garages. In the 1944 he wroked in the intelligence unit Meldehaupt Kommando Wisla. After the War he lived using differendt name Voldemaras Baranauskas in the Rottenburg, Germany. He was interred in the camp of Noiumiunster in the British occupation zone.

He was interrogated on May 31, 1946. It is believed to had been relased ofr information exchange to the British intelligence. It is thought that he 1960 was intterogated in Wiesbaden, Germany. His fate remains unknown.
