===Capture=== In 2000, Moore was arrested for burglary and sentenced to thirteen years in prison. In July 2006 his DNA was matched to a sample taken from an unsolved rape in October 1999. Moore had forced his way into a woman's house, shocked her with a cattle prod and then forced her to have sex with him. Maryland authorities had him transferred to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center to await trial for the rape. On 21 November 2007, Moore was released due to a bureaucratic error. He became a fugitive and fled to Louisiana. His release attracted national attention and he was profiled on the series ''America's Most Wanted''. He was eventually recaptured on 24 December after being arrested breaking into a house. He was extradited back to Maryland to stand trial.
