Ruben "Doc" Cavazos is an American gangster and former president of the Mongols Motorcycle Club. Originally a member of a Los Angeles street gang called the Avenues, he joined the Mongols because of his interest in motorcycling. By 2002, he became National President and began expanding the club outside California, and even outside the US. However, his methods were not without their flaws. Many of his new recruits were members of Sureño gangs, and thus owed allegiance to the Mexican Mafia. This drew the Mongols into conflict with them.
In 2008 Doc was arrested and sentenced to 14 years for racketeering.
The name "Doc" comes from his career as a radiologist.
