Before the beating, she screamed "f***ing faggots" at Baynham and a friend, Phillip Brown. Baynham got a severe brain injury from falling before he was attacked, and he died in a hospital 18 days later. Thomas was sentenced to 7 years in a young offender’s institution, which she began in 2011, and her ex-boyfriend Joel Alexander was given 6 years for the attack.
