'''Sahel Kazemi''' (May 29<sup>th</sup>, 1989 - July 4<sup>th</sup>, 2009) was an adulteress turned villainess behind the murder-suicide of herself and retired Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair.

Sahel was born in Iran on May 29<sup>th</sup>, 1989, and she lost her mother when she was only 9 years old. She emigrated to the US at age 13, and worked as a waitress at Dave and Buster's. It was in December 2008 that Sahel met the married Steve McNair and began their illicit relationship.

Sahel and McNair's relationship began to have problems when Sahel spotted a woman leaving McNair's apartment, with McNair denying his girlfriend's claims that he was seeing someone else. On July 1, 2009, however, Sahel spotted used condoms in the apartment that confirmed her suspicions, and on the following day, Sahel was arrested for driving under the influence; she was bailed out by McNair.

On that same day, Sahel purchased a gun and had it delivered to the apartment on July 3, paying the man she bought the gun from $100 (all in $20 bills), after which she sent texts to McNair to arrange a meeting at their apartment. Sahel turned heel on the following morning (July 4<sup>th</sup>), doing so by shooting McNair to death four times before turning the gun on herself, firing a single shot in her temple to fulfill her murder-suicide plot. After both of them were found, the investigation concluded with the revelation that both Sahel and McNair were killed in a murder-suicide, with Sahel as the perpetrator
