On Sunday, June 12, 2022, the Ouargla Court issued its ruling against activist Soufyan Hamdat, with a valid prison sentence, after his trial on charges of inciting an unarmed gathering, insulting the President of the Republic and insulting a regular body.

Activist Sufian Hamdat was arrested on Monday, May 30, 2022.
