Stacey Castor
Stacey Castor (July 24, 1967 - June 11, 2016) was the notorious "Black Widow" villainess who murdered both of her husbands and made a murderous attempt on her daughter.
Stacey met Michael Wallace back in 1985, when Stacey was just 17, and it was three years later that they became husband and wife, with the marriage later resulting in the births of daughters Ashley (1988) and Bree (1991). The marriage began to fizzle in the eight years that passed, and in 1999, Stacey turned heel and murdered Michael via antifreeze poisoning. Her actions took place during a months-long period beginning in late 1999, up until Michael's passing in early 2000.
Three years after Michael's passing, Stacey met and married David Castor, with Stacey taking David's surname in the process. Two years later, Stacey made a 911 call claiming that David locked himself in their bedroom following an argument, and after police arrived, they kicked open the door and found David deceased, of an apparent suicide. In actuality, Stacey poisoned David with the same method as Michael: antifreeze. Regarding a motive, Stacey planned to cash in on each of her husbands' life insurance policies.
In 2007, Stacey found out that she was under suspicion for the murders of her husbands, and after learning that authorities had exhumed Michael's body, Stacey turned heel again planned to kill Ashley and set her up in the murders of her father and stepfather. The maniacal villainess invited Ashley to her home after she was questioned by police, and convinced her elder daughter to have a drink with her, with Ashley's drink laced with medications. Ashley noticed that her drink had a "nasty" taste, but she consumed it anyway, and 17 hours later, she was found comatose next to her younger sister Bree. Afterwards, the evil Stacey typed a suicide note that claimed that Ashley killed her father and stepfather and later took her own life out of guilt, after which she called 911.
After the evidence pointed to Stacey, the villainess was arrested in 2007, and on February 5, 2009, Stacey was convicted for the murder of her second husband, as well as the attempt on Ashley. A month later, Stacey was sentenced to server 51 years to life in prison, with her original earliest release date set for June 15, 2055--just over a month before her 88th birthday. However, Stacey died on June 11, 2016 of a heart attack; she was only 48.
A TV movie, Poisoned Love: The Stacey Castor Story, aired on Lifetime on February 1, 2020. Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) portrayed Stacey Castor.
