Biography edit
In March 2017, he began using Twitter to interact with suicidal women, and on August 22, he invited the victim to his home, where he drugged her with sleeping pills and alcohol and killed her. The time of the victim's death was already the 23rd.
He then killed nine others, including the first victim, from August 22 to October 23.
On October 31, 2017, Shiraishi was arrested and sentenced to death on December 15, 2020.
In BBSes edit
On August 2, he first killed a young woman, and then submitted an application to dispose of the corpse calling it "how to dispose of 50kg of meat" on "Anything Broadcasting Jupiter (NanJ)", one of the BBSes of the Japanese large BBS "5channel". NanJ's users saw through his intentions, but they taught him how to dispose of the various corpses. However, the incident was never discussed by himself in that topic.
On September 6, 2017, I posted a topic on VIP, one of the BBSes on 5channel, which was titled "Please tell me how to dispose of the corpse". The topic's content was "If you killed someone, how would you cover it up?". However, from the description of the topic, it was again confirmed that he had caused the incident, but due to lack of evidence, no report was made to the police. VIP's users taught him jokes and how to real dispose of a corpse. He's killed more than one person at this point.
After incident edit
This incident led to the consideration of "measures to prevent recurrence" by the Japanese government. In addition, Twitter changed its terms of service after the incident.
The incident he caused is known as the "Zama 9 murders".
