despite popular belief Hitler was never really lawful evil anyway - he was neutral evil since he believed in using both chaos and law to get what he desired, people claim he was lawful because everything he did was "legal" but that's because he made the laws.. prior to gaining power he engaged in terrorism to overthrow the government and when groups, laws or traditions went against what he wanted he happily incited death and destruction to ensure they were gone.

he said he wanted to make Germany stronger, he didn't care how that came about - he would either make them strong with law or with chaos.. as long as he remained in charge.

when his dreams of conquest died Hitler delved right into Chaotic Evil and even top-ranking Nazis knew he was no longer the man they had followed in the past, he sent orders to his own officers to "completely eradicate" the German people and believed the Russians to be worthy of conquest since they defeated Germany.. even after spending so long trying to wipe them out.

the scariest part about Hitler is new evidence that he never actually believed in racial purity but used it as an excuse to completely reshape German society and begin a new age of human society, race was his way of gaining better control over people.. if this is true then Hitler was most definitely Neutral Evil and then degenerated into Chaotic Evil in his later years.
