Finally someone who understands who Lincoln was. I am sick of these people still saying he was "a racist" and so on and so foruth. There is much to suggest that President Lincoln did in fact believe in the equal rights of all human beings, even if he often presented those beliefs in an esoteric manner.

Was he a perfect man? Of course not, he did suspend Habeus Corpus during the war. Was the Union always in the right? Of course not, at time they burned whole cities, massacared civilians, and some of there POW camps were bespectacles of barbaricy. But so did the confederates.

But Lincon was by no means an evil man.
