Thomas F. Sibick is a Buffalo man who assaulted police officer Michael Fanone during the 2021 United States Capitol storming. This case became one of the most infamous officer assaults during the riot.

Prior to the events of the riot, Sibick was a toxic fanatic of Donald Trump. He frequently tuned in on social media and political television programs, most notably Fox News. During the U.S. Capitol storming, Sibick attacked Officer Fanone, stole his badge and radio, and attempted to hide evidence of him stealing his belongings by burying them in his backyard.

He was later detained and arrested in March 2021. He was shown to be remorseful after being caught, now claiming he "loathes Trump". He was released from jail in October 2021, at the custody of his parents.
