Timothy Hale-Cusanelli is a New Jersey Neo-Nazi and former U.S. Army reservist who was convicted for participating in the 2021 United States Capitol storming. He is known for his extreme Neo-Nazi and far-right beliefs, even going as far as to consistently praise Adolf Hitler and sport a Hitler mustache and salute in a number of his photos. In addition to Jews, he vocally expresses hate for minorities, immigrants and women. He is a firm supporter of Donald Trump.
He was previously charged in 2010 with unlawful possession of a weapon and conspiracy. A year later in March 2011, he was additionally charged for aggravated assault and attempted murder after stabbing his mother's boyfriend in a domestic dispute. However, those charges were eventually dismissed.
During the 2021 United States Capitol storming, Hale-Cusanelli took part in the riots, breaking into the Senate Wing Door and remained inside the building for 40 minutes. He was later arrested and charged for his participation in the riots. His sentencing for his crimes is scheduled for September 16, 2022.
A year later in a September 2022, his aunt Cynthia Hughes was invited as a speaker for a Trump rally. She is the founder of the Patriot Freedom Project, a movement responsible for bringing justice towards 2021 Capitol insurrectionists. However, Hughes noticeably failed to mention that Hale-Cusanelli was an extremist Neo-Nazi.

- Despite his anti-semitic beliefs, extreme support for the Nazi Party, and massive hate towards immigrants, Hale-Cusanelli revealed he is actually half Jewish and half Puerto-Rican during his hearing.
- He has a YouTube accont called The Based Hermes Show, where he expressed his extremist political opinions. As of September 8, 2022, the channel has not been terminated, but all of his videos have been taken down.
