Umran Javed is a British convict and suspected member of Al Ghurabaa. In 2006 he appeared at a protest outside the Danish embassy in London to protest depictions of the Prophet Muhammad in a Danish magazine. During the rally, Javed shouted slogans such as "We want Danish blood!" and "Bomb, bomb Denmark! Bomb, bomb USA!". Six weeks after the event, police raided his home and found the pamphlet Kill Them by the Sword Wherever They Are, printed by Al Ghurabaa.
Javed was convicted of inciting violence along with three other suspects; Mizanur Rahman, Abdul Saleem and Abdul Muhid. He was sentenced to six years in prison.
