[[File:Victor Manuel Gerena FBI aged photograph.jpg|thumb]] Víctor Manuel Gerena (born June 24, 1958) is an American fugitive of New York origin and of Puerto Rican descent wanted by the FBI for the September 1983 armed robbery of White Eagle, Connecticut, as a Wells Fargo employee. and a member of the Puerto Rican People's Army, from Wells Fargo Armored Vehicle Facility. The $ 7 million in cash was the largest cash theft in American history at the time. On May 14, 1984, Gerena became the 386th fugitive to be included on the FBI's top ten most wanted fugitives list. He is still at large, and on April 11, 2010, he became the longest-serving fugitive on the list.Since then, several members of the group "Los Macheteros" have been arrested in connection with the robbery, including two of Gerena's brothers. Ríos was later killed in an FBI shooting. Gerena is the latest fugitive from the Well's Fargo heist still at large. Gerena was on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list from 1984 until it was barred from that list in 2016. A $ 1 million reward is still offered in the case.
