Wilhelm Rediess

Wilhelm Rediess was a Nazi official who served as the SS and Police Leader in Norway.
Rediess started as a young man who desired to become an electrician. He enlisted in the German military as an infantryman during World War I. He later worked as an electrician, but his occupation was cut short during the Great Depression.
He later became the SS leader in Norway, and was responsible for murdering 1,558 Jewish deportees that were deemed "mentally ill". Rediess later committed suicide upon the collapse of the Third Reich in Norway on May 8, 1945.
