Glynn attempted to rob the Burger King Bayron-Nieves was working at. Wearing a ski mask, he broke into the entrance holding her at gunpoint demanding $100. Court documents reveal Glynn had seven previous arrests to charges regarding rape, threats, assault, and illegal usage of weapons. During arrest, Glynn compared himself to figures like Jesus and Nelson Mandela, believing he was in no wrong. He additionally went on to outburst that law enforcement arrested him solely because he was black.
