Glynn attempted to rob the Burger King Bayron-Nieves was working at. Wearing a ski mask, he broke into the entrance holding her at gunpoint demanding $100. Court documents reveal Glynn had seven previous arrests to charges regarding rape, threats, assault, and illegal usage of weapons.
