Xenophobia: The fear or hatred of foreign, strange or alien things or people.

Xenophobia is similar to racism as both groups discourage anything that isn't related to their race. The history of xenophobia is possibly traced down to Ancient Greece as Greeks would call foreigners 'barbarians', this was because the Greeks believed they were superior to people. They believed that the barbarians should be naturally enslaved as shown in a speech given Manius Acillius ,"There, as you know, there were Macedonians and Thracians and Illyrians, all most warlike nations, here Syrians and Asiatic Greeks, the most worthless peoples among mankind and born for slavery.
