[[File:AttacksInMumbai2008.jpg|thumb|300px]]The '''2008 Mumbai attacks''' (also known as '''26/11''' and '''India's [[9/11]]''') were a series of terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in the course of three days, from November 26, 2008 to November 29, 2008. The Pakistani [[militant Islam]]ist organization [[Lashkar-e-Taiba]] was the primary party responsible, and committed terrorist actions including mass [[murder]], [[arson]], hostage situations, and [[bombing]]s. The Leopold Cafe, Chhatrapati Shivaji Train Station, Taj Mahal Hotel, Trident Hotel, Cama Hospital, and Nariman House were the locations of the attacks. 166 victims were killed and more than 300 were injured. 9 of the 10 participants were killed in action, with [[Ajmal Kasab]] being the sole surviving attacker.
