The 2008 Mumbai attacks (also known as 26/11 and India's 9/11) were a series of terrorist attacks in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in the course of three days, from November 26, 2008 to November 29, 2008. The Pakistani militant Islamist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba was the primary party responsible, and committed terrorist actions including mass murder, arson, hostage situations, and bombings.
