The Colina Group was a paramilitary group whose members operated in Peru in different detachments from the 1980s to the early 1990s, as part of a strategy called War of low intensity[1] undertaken by the Peruvian State through its armed forces. During the first government of Alan García, groups operated with similar modus operandi, such as the Comando Rodrigo Franco and Grupo Scorpio. The Colina group was led by Major of the Peruvian Army Santiago Martín Rivas.
