'''Karl Gebhardt''' is a [[Nazi Party]] doctor and war criminal who served as Medical Superintendent of the Hohenlychen Sanatorium, Consulting Surgeon of the Waffen-SS, and Chief Surgeon in the Staff of the Reich Physician SS and Police. Most notably, he was [[Heinrich Himmler]]'s personal physician.
Gebhardt was responsible for [[Nazi Medical Experimentation|numerous human experimentations]] on [[concentration camp]] prisoners in Ravensbrück and [[Auschwitz]].
Gebhardt was eventually convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity and sentenced to death on August 20, 1947. He was eventually hanged on June 2, 1948.
