Leah Walden is a villainous day care worker who murdered an 8-month-old girl in 2017.
Leah Walden had been employed at the Rocket Tiers Daycare Center in Baltimore for 2 1/2 years, but in May of 2017, she killed 8-month-old Reese Bowman out of frustration and anger over her failed attempts to get her to sleep. Lean claimed that she fed Reese and wrapped her in a blanket as she placed her in her crib, and it was after this that she became unresponsive; though video footage showed Lean being violently rough with Reese and later suffocating her with blankets.
Leah was arrested and charged with murder, and during her trial, it was revealed that she expressed her bitterness towards Reese to a co-worker before the murder, referring to Reese as a "little bitch" on more than one occasion. On November 28, 2018, Leah pleaded guilty to first-degree murder, and received a sentence of 70 years in prison; she will be eligible for parole at age 59.
