Liu Zhigang (born in 1974) was a Chinese attempted murderer who on December 4th, 2004, tried to kill 12 students because he considered them a threat to him and was later found not guilty due to schizophrenia.

Liu Zhigang was born in 1974, with a unknown birth date, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.
He lived at a farm with his 80 year old father at the time of the crime.

In December 4th, 2004, at about 9 AM, Liu Zhigang entered at the Central Primary School of Mingcheng Town with his kitchen knife.
He scaled up the school fencing and injured twelve seven year old kids, five were boys and seven were girls (their names were not released, possibly due to them being underage).
After attacking the twelve kids, he cut his own throat. (Trying to kill himself to get away with his attempted murders.).
The school staff and police restrained him and rushed him to the hospital.
Liu Zhigang's Fate edit
After surviving his suicide attempt, it was reported that Liu Zhigang had schizophrenia and melancholy during the attack, so, he could not be held responsible for his behavior.
The police then released Liu Zhigang from the detainment and left him in the hospital for treatment.
The Kids's Fates edit
They have been hospitalized since the assault and went into stable situation.
They were discharged from the hospital on Thursday.

- He is very similar to Liu Hongwen: Both are pedocidal chinese men with schizophrenia with the same first name who were born in the 1970s who committed crimes against seven year old kids in 2004 and were found not guilty due to their mental illnesses and their current whereabouts are unknown.
- At the time of the crime, he still lived with his father at a farm, who was 80 years old back then.
- He failed killing the 12 students (who were 5 boys and 7 girls).
- His whereabouts are currently unknown in 2023.
- It's unknown if he's alive or dead, but if he's alive, then he is atleast 49 years old today.
