The National Socialist Irish Workers Party (also abbreviated to the NSIWP) was a far-right, Neo-Nazi hate group that originated in Irishtown, Dublin, Ireland. The group was founded in 1968 by Terence Allan-Byrne. Some of the group's members included Colm Tarrant, the group's secretary, and Jos Mussche, a former Dutch SS member. The group only really had a handful of members. The group was very racist and anti-Semitic, and sent threatening letters to Jews and black people who lived in Ireland. Not to mention, in 1979, when the group's leader Terence Allan-Byrne had a swastika carved into his chest, he refused to let an Indian doctor treat it, which led to him being referred to another hospital, where another doctor there refused to treat him. The group occasionally fought with anti-fascist groups, including Republican socialists. Eventually, the group's leader passed away in the early 1980s, and the group eventually dissolved in the late 1980s. After this, Colm Tarrant went on to work with the Irish-Arab Society, an anti-Israel organization.
