Francois Patrick Nogueira Gouveia, (Brazilian city of Altamira, on November 6, 1996), belonged to a wealthy family: his father is a reputed radiologist and the family runs a prestigious clinic. In 2013, when Patrick was 17, he stabbed one of his teachers in the classroom "because he called him fag" - and was under psychiatric treatment for six months. After that episode he moved to Europe with the intention of becoming a professional footballer. The four members of his family who he allegedly murdered gave him accommodation in Spain in March 2016, his uncle Marcos Campos, his mother's brother, his wife, Janaina Santos, and the two children of Patrick's couple and cousins, Maria Carolina, three years old, and Davi, one year old whom Patrick hated, and said that the older girl should go to the trash and let the child leave it out for her organs to be taken away. In July, his uncle would leave Patrick and they would move to Pioz, a month later Parick planned revenge by presenting himself with two large pizzas for his cousins, after finishing eating, under the pretext of helping his aunt to wash the dishes he took a knife and cut his neck, then went to kill the children, luckily Patrick the children killed remained cuddled before proceeding to slaughter them and asked a teenager to help him kill his uncle and keep calm when he got to work his uncle showed his murdered family members leaving the father in shock so he took the opportunity to take several stabs, after dying he continued talking with his compliment about morbid details, then proceeded to extensively clean the house so as not to be discovered, after he I sleep in his uncles' bed to play football tomorrow. Patrick again cleaned the house, butchered his uncle's body and put it in another garbage bag. Once the quadruple murder was consummated, he stayed to sleep in the chalet where his family lay dead and the next morning he returned by bus to Alcalá de Henares to play soccer, a sport that he practiced. After a month of tranquility, a foul smell alerted the neighbors and upon discovering the bodies Patrick would flee to Brazil, prey to the panic, but after being the only suspect in the murders he decided to fly to Spain to surrender.

Nogueira was found unanimously guilty by the jury and sentenced to three life sentences for the murders of Campos and the children, plus a further 25 years for the murder of Santos. He became the fifth person to be given a life sentence in Spain since the penalty was reinstated in 2015. The aggravating factors of the three murders over the other were the ages of the children, and the premeditation of the murder of Campos hours after the others. In June 2019 this sentence was partially upheld on appeal by the Castile–La Mancha Supreme Court, who revised it as a single life sentence for the murder of Campos plus 75 years for the other three, due to a technicality in applying aggravating factors. The original sentence was reinstated by the Supreme Court of Spain in May 2020, and also ordered Nogueira to pay €411,915 to relatives of the victims.

In his trial, visibly saddened that he would spend the rest of his life on the bars. For these crimes a brain abnormality was denied, he was declared healthy for what he was sentenced to life imprisonment reviewable in Spain (maximum penalty in Spain) remains isolated from other inmates due to possible violent reprisals.
