Peter Ball

Peter Ball (February 14, 1932 - June 21, 2019) was a former bishop in the Church of England. He served as the Bishop of Lewes from 1977 to 1992, where he resigned after allegations of sexual abuse.
Sexual Offenses and Imprisonment edit
Ball resigned as bishop following allegations of sexual assaults while in power. He had later admitted to the abuse of eighteen males under the age of 18 during his power as bishop, where he was sentenced to 32 months imprisonment. He was eventually released on licence after serving half his sentence in 2017.
He died in 2019 following damage sustained from a fall at the age of 87.
