Biography edit

Rafael Solich was born in 1989. He was a quiet kid with few friends. He loved goth culture and would often listen to Marilyn Manson with his best friend Dante. He would often dress in black and would speak english to his best friend Dante to keep their conversation private. He was also obsessed with satanism and would often draw inverted crosses. According to Rafael, everyone has been bothering him since kindergarten and he thought about killing them since seventh grade, but his classmates say the opposite, that they wanted to include him but that he was a recluse on his own. Before the shooting he saw with his friend the movie Elephant, inspired by the Columbine massacre, in Rafael's words the movie left him speechless. On September 27, 2004, Solich had a conversation with his father and when he left the house he took the Browning 9mm semi-automatic pistol and three magazines from his father, who was a non-commissioned officer.

Shooting edit

On September 28, 2004, Rafael went to the Instituto N° 202 Islas Malvinas of Carmen de Patagones wearing a coat that hid a knife and a Browning 9mm pistol with three magazines. At 7:35 a.m. before the teacher arrived to take attendance, Solich stood in front of the class, pulled the pistol and without saying a word, began to shoot. After emptying the magazine, he left the classroom, reloaded the gun and fired again, but the gun jammed after the first shot. When police arrived at the school, Solich did not resist arrest.
