Simon Martial is a homeless elderly man who pushed Michelle Alyssa Go, an Asian woman, in front of a subway train, which ultimately killed her.
It has been revealed that Martial has a criminal history of theft and robbery charges. In 2013, he attempted to rob a taxi driver by holding the driver at gunpoint. He also stole $43 from a man's car in 2017. He also has a history of mental-illness and drug/substance addiction, being on drug medication for over 20 years and having a fluctuating in-and-out history with mental hospitals.
