Stephen Kevin "Steve" Bannon is an American media executive who was the CEO of the far-right media Breitbart News Network. Bannon was the former Chief Strategist of the White House during the first seven months of Donald Trump's presidency.

Bannon was appointed chief executive of Donald Trump's presidential campaign on August 17, 2016. His rise to prominence drew massive controversy due to comments he made on Breitbart News deeming xenophobic. Most notably those involving hate towards Jews, Muslims, and women.

He was arrested in August 2020 for money laundering and conspiracy to commit fraud.
