Sinophobia, Chinaphobia, or Anti-Chinese Sentiment is intense dislike or hatred of the Chinese. Anti-Chinese sentiment is generally rooted in stereotypes of the Chinese people, such as that they are ill-mannered, dirty/slovenly, etc.
Sinophobia has, unfortunately, increased with the COVID-19 pandemic.
