  • November 29 - A bomb detonates in the restroom at Dublin Airport, killing an Aer Lingus employee and injuring 11 at a bar nearby. The Ulster Defence Association claims responsibility.
  • December 2 - The Laotian Civil War ends when the Lao Royal Family is deposed by the Pathet Lao. The country is reorganized into the Lao People's Democratic Republic .
  • December 7 - Suharto invades and occupies East Timor, and also launches a campaign of genocide against East Timor.
  • December 12 - The Balcombe Street Gang, a Provisional IRA unit responsible for several bombings in Great Britain, surrenders to the police, ending their campaign.
  • December 29 - The 1975 LaGuardia Airport bombing occurs when a bomb detonates near the TWA baggage reclaim terminal at LaGuardia Airport, New York City, killing 11 people and seriously injuring 74 others. The perpetrators were never identified, although investigators and historians believe that Croatian nationalists were the most likely.
