"Affably Evil" are people who are friendly and/or polite etc, in nature despite being villianous. They will frequently behave politely in the presence of ordinary people, and this is genuine, not a tactic to manipulate others like "Faux Affably Evil" types.

Most of the time, they are only willing to hurt or kill anyone who is in opposition to their agenda and are cooperative and forthcoming with everyone else.
