These villains go beyond brutes. The very opposite of a sophisticated person, barbarians are savages who commit exceptionally brutal acts in revolting ways. Barbarians were much more common in ancient times, but while their presence has decreased, they are still around.
Barbarians are people who act like savages, they have no manners and have no standards on what is right and what is wrong. They have no emotions in their acts and often commit horrible acts. These villains were more common in the early days, but still exist. These villains go beyond Brutes and some are even cannibalistic.
