A nihilist is someone who rejects an objective meaning to life and, in many ways, morality. Nihilists do not necessarily endorse acts such as murder, rape, etc., they just view morality as a construct that doesn't exist objectively. It is also worth noting that nihilists are not necessarily villainous, the actions of many of the villains in this category are not inherent to nihilist philosophy, with the majority of Nihilists viewing violence as disdainful and pointless.
